Do you get good traffic using article marketing?

Probably it depends on article submission site? What site do you usually sends your article and produce you good traffic?

We have people in our organization getting up to 100 Leads per day from Article Marketing. So if you ask whether it has potential, it has for sure. It all depends on how you apply it and how much of the Insider secrets you know..

Hi blueprints

There are a number of important issues with article marketing that can make or break it.

Some of the main issues to consider when writing and posting articles are:

Have a clear target market in mind, and know their problems and needs. That way, you'll be writing on topics that they actually need and will be searching for.

Do keyword research (of the keyword phrases relevant to your article topic), and ensure you use the keywords you want to be searchable on, in your title and first paragraph of your article, as well as throughout your article. Once you've written your first draft, proof-read and re-write it, if necessary, with keywords included.

Make sure you're saying something different or in a different way. It's worth first doing a search for your topic on some of the main article submission sites, to see what others are writing and how they're writing. This will enable you to offer something unique and of value.

Submit your article to as many sites as you can. As long as it's your original work, it doesn't matter too much if you submit the same article a few times (unless they specify it must be unpublished elsewhere). It's also possible to tweak the article with a few different words, phrases, keywords and title, to make it slightly different for each article submission site.

Tell your target market that your article is on the internet. Post links to your article(s) on your social media profiles, blogs, websites, forums, etc. Without this last step, people won't necessarily know your article exists (unless they're looking for that information specifically, and your article ranks high on search engine results pages (SERPs)). Of course, if you're a quality article writer and once you have a following, with a few subscribers/RSS feeds, people will be looking out for your stuff, and re-tweeting it, creating further links/traffic.

Good luck

The good thing about Article Marketing is that it is targeted traffic because obviously the article led them to your site

I get good traffic from my articles in directories. Some of my articles are number 1 in longtail keywords on google search results.

I would say yes but unfortunately just a short term traffic, mean getting good traffic on the first day article submitted, then the traffic will slow down and no more traffic after several time.
