Turn Facebook Friends Into Traffic

Traffic is the life blood of any internet marketing business and you can get lots of traffic from your Facebook friends, but first you need to build these friends. Here is what you should do everyday.

1... Get in the habit of requesting 10-15 new friends every day in the category that you are interested in

2... Post something on your Wall every day.

By doing this you will find that your friends will start to grow and people will start connecting with you. Then you can send them to your like page and turn them into traffic.

Great Info, I would just add one thing. When you make the friend request, don't just send a request. Say a little something, I usually say I see your into whatever, so am I we should connect. Just by saying something you will get more of your request accepted.

Treat people as friends first not as potential customers because I believe it is only when you share ideas and comments that you will establish a trust that will result in customers

These are all good tips...I would also say give your FB friends incentive to visit your site rather than stay on your FB page. For example, offer something (ebook, resource, etc.) that can only be accessed if they "like" you on FB and visit your site. Monetizing social media traffic is tricky and although it should be part of your promotional strategy, shouldn't take too much time/effort that could be better spent creating content or doing SEO-related work.

love to try facebook sometime. heard alot of people saying they're making money on it but just can't get myself overthere yet.

I don't seem to be able to leave a message any more when I send a request. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it?

If you do any social media advertising you should also look into creating or joining "groups" as they will be targeted recipients of your message.

Even if a group is already started, you can learn alot from the folks who regularly post in those groups.

An even better strategy is to start your own group within an existing group; in other words, dig a little deeper in the niche and come up with a tightly focused group that is a "sub group" of the broader niche.

Not only does that allow you to become the authority in the sub niche, it gives you a highly targeted group of "friends" if you can find ways to build your group.

Having 100 highly targeted "friends" is better than having 1000 "acquaintances" that may not care at all about your advertising messages.
