Web Designer and Web Developer
I've always find great designers not very into the coding part of web design. It doesn't mean they don't understand it, it's just that they are graphical and prefer being creative while being a web developer basically equals to a programmer.
During my search for great web designers, I've come cross very few designers who also do developing but many developers trying to do design. Of course, people have more than one skill and being both is likely to become a qualified freelance all-in-one web expert. However, I feel designers are more credible when they are specialist in some styles and they have a better niche. Developers, on the other hand, are needed everywhere and it's not their unique style people are seeking but their ability to turn design into functional websites. I would like to see a great designer + developer tough, because I think it's rare and exciting when the person who has the skills to make something beautiful also can make it functional. Any thoughts, any great designers/developers to share? Anyone you've worked with and find absolutely amazing?

I think the web page designer is mainly engaged in the design, layout, color matching, a basic understanding about html and css on it, web development, mainly for engineers, program development, such as asp, php, asp.net, etc. Hello detailed explanation of what to what?

I was hoping to see some recommendation of great talents, web designer or developer or both. I'm surprised no one has a favorite web designer that they really like or was inspired by their work.

For the past 15 years or so I have learned to do whatever is needed for my site...including graphics and content....
I like it that way.....very satisfying to complete a site without an outside source..... And less headaches..... ))))))))

Every website should begin with a clear sitemap and wireframes indicating the interface and navigation. These are WAY more important than a lot of people take into consideration. Making it as easy as possible for a user to browse your site is very important.

I love web programming but the only problem is that Im not really good at creating the overall design of a web page.. What will I be doing is that I will just have to edit some website themes and make it look fancier than before.. Im more on to front end programming..
